23/24 Season Content Warnings

Looking for a little more information on the content of a show? You’re in the right place! We know that our community brings diverse experiences into the theater with them and we wish to acknowledge that sensitivity to subject matter varies from person to person.

Content Advisories for each show in the 2022/23 Season are below. If you are looking for more detailed information about content, age-appropriateness, or stage effects that might impact your comfort or the comfort of your party, we invite you to contact the Constellation Box Office by emailing info@seeconstellation.org or calling 812.336.9300 (M-F 12-5pm). 

Note: Effects like haze, strobe, and loud noises cannot always be predicted until the show is in rehearsals and fully staged. Check back for updates as we get closer to each production! 

Curious George: the Golden Meatball

• Fun for all ages!

Glitches in Reality (Special Event Magic Show)

• Recommended for ages 12+ – includes no explicit content, but was designed with an adult audience in mind.

Matilda the Musical

• Recommended for ages 5+ – includes themes of child abuse/neglect, bullying.

Webster’s B****

• Recommended for ages 16+ – includes explicit language, use of a homophobic slur.

The Play That Goes Wrong

• Recommended for ages 8+  – includes loud, unexpected noises; mild language; stage violence; mild innuendo; general mayhem from start to finish.

Alex Gold: Stuck on Repeat

• Fun for all ages!

The Break: A New Rock Musical

• Recommended for mature audiences only – strong language, explicit lyrics and dialogue, including references to sex.
