Constellation Stage & Screen invites you to the Codebreakers Bash: An Evening of Secrets,Symbols, & Support for Constellation, a one-of-a-kind fundraising event along with a special performance of our spring production of The Da Vinci Code. Join us for an immersive evening of elegance, secrets, and artistic discovery, all while supporting Constellation’s mission to inspire, educate, and entertain through powerful storytelling.

Tickets are $75 and include dinner, immersive entertainment, and a performance of The Da Vinci Code. FlexPass holders may call the box office (M-F 12 – 5pm) and redeem their 25/26 FlexPass tickets for a $35 upgrade per ticket. [Note: Family Friendly Subscribers are not eligible for this offer]

Chad Rabinovitz (Director) is the Artistic Director of Constellation Stage & Screen. Prior to Constellation, Chad was the Producing Artistic Director of Bloomington Playwrights Project for 14 years. He has directed more than 100 productions (and produced 300) across the country, focusing primarily on new works. Recent directing projects include the national tour of Penn & Teller Present: The Foolers, Glitches In Reality starring the reigning World Champion of Magic (Current Tour), The Jokers of Magic (upcoming tour) The Play That Goes Wrong (the best-selling show in the history of the Waldron Arts Center!), and the Off-Broadway production of The Life & Slimes Of Marc Summers (Off-Broadway Alliance Award Nominee), which started here in Bloomington!  When not directing, Chad likes to launch sugary snacks at his space-themed candy store, THE CANDY SPACE, in Lake George, NY (thecandyspace.com) and manufactures his own brand of freeze-dried confections, SPACE CANDY, which can be found in the Smithsonian, Kennedy Space Center, and thousands of stores nationwide (gospacecandy.com).

Eric Olson is always happy return to Constellation, where he has been seen many times over the last decade! Theatre credits: First National Tour of Ragtime, Off-Broadway, and regional theatres across America & Europe, including Goodspeed Opera House, Trinity Repertory Company, Sacramento Music Circus, American Stage, The Link Theatre Company, Gateway Playhouse, Theatre by the Sea, The Garry Marshall (Falcon) Theatre, Disney’s Hyperion, Eclipse, Phoenix Theatre, and many more. Film Credits include the features Malum, Raising Helen, Someone Saved My Life, Groomed, and the Lifetime feature Murder and Mayhem at Mardi Gras. Love to Suzanne, Ginny, and Nick!

Valerie C. Kilmer
Sophie Neveu

Valerie is returning to the Constellation stage after appearing in 2023’s Holmes & Watson, and 2022’s The Importance of Being Earnest. She has also worked with Off Night Productions (Hurricane Diane, Proof), Indiana University (On the Line), Maelstrom Collaborative Arts (Broken Codes, Tall Skinny Cruel Cruel Boys, TingleTangle, Code: Preludes), Ohio City Theatre Project (Incendiaries), Cleveland Public Theatre (Cuyahoga, Briefly; Fire on the Water), The Lantern Theatre (Johnny Appleseed, Huck Finn), and Talespinner Children’s Theatre (Rosalynde and the Falcon, Adventures in Slumberland). In May, Valerie will appear in Jewish Theatre of Bloomington’s production of Your Name Means Dream.

Jonathan Michaelsen (he/him)

Jonathan is delighted to be acting for Constellation and working with Chad and this wonderfully creative cast and crew. Currently Jonathan teaches Acting and Directing at Indiana University and will direct a new work at IUB next season. In May, he will direct the world premiere of Another Revolution for Constellation. Jonathan is married to Miah Michaelsen, the Executive Director of the Indiana Arts Commission and they have two wonderfully supportive children.

David Sheehan
Vernet

David Sheehan is an Actor, Director, and Sound Designer based in Bloomington, Indiana. He spent several years as the Associate Artistic Director for the Bloomington Playwrights Project where he directed the Woodward/Newman Award winning plays You Remind Me of You and Out of Orbit  and was a member of the directing team for Home, Make Me Bad, and Everything In Its Place: The Life and Slimes of Marc Summers. Recently, David directed An Act of God for Constellation. On stage, David was seen as Dennis in The Play That Goes Wrong, Sherlock #1 in Holmes and Watson, and Dr Chasuble in The Importance of Being Earnest at Constellation. David’s recent sound designs for Constellation include: Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical, Maple & Vine, Wipeout, and Alex Gold: Stuck on Repeat.  In 2024 David made his Off-Broadway debut with the sound design for Everything In Its Place: The Life and Slimes of Marc Summers.

Bobby is an actor, teacher, director, writer, and artist. He is a graduate of Indiana University’s MFA Acting program. For Constellation: Maple and Vine, The Play That Goes Wrong, Holmes and Watson. His teaching includes acting and movement courses at IU and Constellation. bobbyayalaperez.com

I’m so excited to make my debut with Constellation Stage & Screen as Silas in The Da Vinci Code. I’m from Chicago and my theatre credits include: Romeo & Juliet (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre), The Master And Margarita (Strawdog Theatre Company), King Henry The Fourth (Oak Park Festival Theatre), Henry V (Oak Park Festival Theatre), Elizabeth Rex (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre), Kill me! (WildClaw Theatre Company), Coriolanus (The Hypocrites), Richard III (Wayward Productions), 9 Circles (Sideshow Theatre Company), The Shadow Over Innsmouth (WildClaw. Theatre Company). My TV/Film credits include: Chicago Justice (NBC), My Best Nut (Fork The Man Productions), Trick And Treats (Heroic Age Studios), Win it All (Forage Film), Other People’s Heads (SC Films), The Coming of Age (Fork The Man Productions), Blood And Water (Vicious Motion).

Isabelle McNamara-Angel (she/her)

Isabelle hails from Queens, New York and is currently completing her last semester of her MFA in Acting at IU. She is a proud Colombian American theatre artist who can usually be found roaming museums in her spare time. Some recent credits for IU/IUST: Pride and Prejudice (Lizzy), Twelfth Night (Viola), Dial M for Murder (Maxine Hadley), F**king A (Canary Mary). Others: A Christmas Carol at Indiana Repertory Theatre and Hurricane Diane at Off Night Productions.

Steve Scott (he/him)
Sauniére

Steve’s acting debut was in 2012 with Monroe County Civic Theater’s (MCCT) production of Studs Terkel’s Working: The Musical. More recently he played Robert in Off Night Productions’ presentation of David Auburn’s Pulitzer-winning play, Proof and the Great and powerful Oz himself in Constellation’s 2024 Christmas Show, The Wizard of Oz.

Julie Dixon is delighted to be working with Constellation Stage & Screen again after appearing as Wynn in Wipeout. A Connecticut native, she has worked on both the East and West coasts before ending up in Indiana where she teaches at Indiana State University.

Eric is thrilled to make his Constellation debut! He is a third-year MFA Acting candidate at Indiana University. He received a BA in Theater and Business from Muhlenberg College. Eric has recently worked at Indianapolis Repertory Theatre and serves as Creative Director for The RockNRoll Chorus. Recent credits include: Pride & Prejudice (Mr. Darcy), Legally Blonde (Callahan), Pipeline (Dun), Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), Sanctuary City (Henry), A Christmas Carol (Male Swing), The Legend of Georgia McBride (Eddie). Other credits: A Case for the Existence of God (Keith), In the Heights (Piragua Guy), The Color Purple (Mister), Bat Boy (Dr. Parker).
