Editing for Adults; Adobe Premiere Fundamentals & Techniques (Ages 18+) – Session 1
This introductory course is designed to equip beginner editors with the essential skills and knowledge needed to edit videos using Adobe Premiere. Over the span of four weeks, students will gain a solid foundation in video editing techniques, from project setup and media organization to advanced editing functions, such as applying transitions, effects, and audio adjustments. Through hands-on exercises and practical assignments, students will learn how to create engaging video sequences, enhance visuals with color correction and grading, add titles and graphics, and finalize projects for sharing on various platforms. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence and proficiency to edit their own videos using Adobe Premiere.

Improv for Adults: Beyond Beginner (Ages 18+)
Constellation’s Improv for Adults: Beyond Beginner reinforces and builds upon improvisational skills and performance techniques. This class will focus on short-form improv and is open to adults with previous improv experience (class, workshop, troupe, etc). Improv is a magical art form that is not only fantastically fun, it develops storytelling ability, enhances listening, communication, and collaboration skills, builds resilience, increases confidence, and so much more!

Acting for Adults: “Best Play” Scene Study (Ages 18+)
Constellation’s Acting for Adults; Scene Study curriculum is adapted from a variety of master teachers and acting traditions. Students will engage in collaborative acting exercises to help develop and sharpen their actor toolkit (body, voice, breath) and will use scripted scenes from Tony-nominated “Best Plays” as “acting laboratories” to build upon the skills. Students will leave the class more competent and confident performers.

Acting for Middles: Alien Invasion (Grades 6-8)
From Star Wars to The Iron Giant and Lilo & Stitch, Acting for Kids: Alien Invasion is a fast-paced and fun introduction to acting that will use scenes from popular kids’ alien-genre movies to focus on the building blocks of acting techniques, including voice and speech development, creative movement, and exploration of character. Through collaborative scene study, students will emerge from the class more articulate, engaged, and confident performers. This class is perfect for beginners, as wellor acting students with some experience.

Short Film Project for Middles (Grades 6-8)
Jump into a full-scale short film production with Constellation Stage & Screen’s Short Film Project for 6th – 8th graders! This immersive, experiential, project-based learning environment will give young filmmakers the opportunity to work on a safe, fun, and collaborative film set. Filmmakers will learn and actively participate in each stage of film production: Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production. Note: In addition to regular class times, this class includes a full-day production day on Saturday, December 2 from 10am-6pm.

Dice & Discoveries: A Tabletop Character Exploration (Ages 18+)
NEW! Inspired by tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons, Constellation’s Dice & Discoveries: A Tabletop Character Exploration gives students the opportunity to learn about character building and creative problem-solving through theater improv and an exploration of choices, secrets, and collaborative storytelling!

Musical Theater Workshop (Ages 18+)
Do you dream of being on stage in the next big musical? Want to nail that next audition? Do you struggle with knowing what to sing? Do you just want to have fun belting out your favorite show tunes? If you answered “yes” to any of the above, then this class is for you! For budding performers with some singing experience to accomplished performers with a long resume, this 7-week workshop is geared towards audition technique and exploring and building musical theatre repertoire.

Comedy Club for Kids (Grades 3-5): SOLD OUT
Constellation’s Comedy Club for 3rd – 5th graders offers the perfect environment for budding comedians to explore their comedic acting, joke writing, and improv abilities! Not only will they explore the different types of comedy–from slapstick to farce to observational–they will also explore the different types of comedic performance–from stand up to sketch to improvisational. Students will gain confidence and communication skills in an open, accepting, and collaboratively silly environment.

Musical Theater Playground: Frozen Forever! (Grades K-2): SOLD OUT
Theater Playground: Frozen Forever! is is an introduction to theater arts for Littles (grades K-2nd) and will explore the imaginative, magical, and wintery world of Frozen! Students will explore characters, songs, scenes, and dances from Frozen, Frozen Forever, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, and Frozen 2, in a fun, dynamic, and interactive learning environment. The class will also implement confidence-building theatre games and improvisation activities to spark creative thinking, promote active listening, and encourage self-expression.
