Our Latest Project: Rock, Paper, Destiny
Last spring, Constellation filmed its 2025 Project Constellation Short Film: Rock, Paper, Destiny. Project Constellation pairs professional filmmakers with Bloomington area students, actors, and crew to create a high-level short film that’s screened in Bloomington and submitted to film festivals nationwide. Formerly a statewide competition, Constellation was thrilled to bring this educational opportunity home to Bloomington for the 24/25 Season. This is Constellation Stage & Screen’s first large-scale film project, and the magic all happened right here in Btown!
An incredible 46 local actors, 185 extras, and 28 crew members gave their time and talent to bring Rock, Paper, Destiny to life. The principal cast features Bloomington South student Emma Kehr and IU senior Josh Ingle Jr., alongside Rebekka Johnson (GLOW, The Baby-Sitters Club, Sex Lives Of College Girls), Jason Rogel (CROSS, Raven’s Home, The Mistle-Tones), and Greg Santos (CBS Showcase 2024, The Baxters, Somewhere in Between). The film was shot in various locations across South Central Indiana, including Bloomington North High School and Edgewood High School.
Rock, Paper, Destiny is now heading to the film festival circuit! An official premiere will be held at one of the film festivals at a later date. Follow @rockpaperdestiny on Instagram for updates regarding premieres and festival involvement.
