Big Bang Campaign
Make a BIG BANG.
In order to allow for more robust operations, increase our service capacity, and broaden and diversify our audience, Constellation’s sustained success requires setting a new standard for arts philanthropy in the region.
To build the full-scale, comprehensive, professional performing arts organization that Bloomington has long deserved, Cook Group has pledged $300,000/year in unrestricted operating support.
Additionally, Cook has issued a challenge to our community to develop a broad and sustainable base of renewable support by matching all new and renewable annual gifts over the next five years, up to $150,000/year. The Big Bang Campaign will commence in 2022, ushering in a new era of arts philanthropy in Bloomington, with the goal of securing $250,000 in new, sustained annual giving by 2027.
Consider pledging your support today. Please email john@seeconstellation.org for more information on how you can MAKE A BIG BANG with Constellation Stage & Screen.
The Big Bang Campaign:
FUNDRAISING PHASE ONE: Stability

$150,000 in New Annual Giving
There is an immediate need for new funding to launch Constellation Stage & Screen on sure footing.
FUNDRAISING PHASE TWO: Sustainability
2023 – 2026
$100,000 in New Annual Giving
Phase Two of our fundraising strategy will ensure that Constellation can realize its full vision and potential over the next 5 years. Our success will be directly tied to our ability to enhance our infrastructure and staffing in order to grow our programming while making it more accessible.
CAMPAIGN GOAL
$250,000 in new, sustained annual giving
FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN: “The Legacy”
With our stability and sustainability secured, it will be time to think about the legacy that we will build together. This will include 1) building a robust endowment that will serve to sustain the operations of Constellation for generations to come, and 2) establishing the long-term home of our company, either a full renovation of the Waldron Arts Center or construction of a new, purpose-built Performing Arts Center.
