Constellation is partnering with the Phoenix Theatre to bring an exclusive first look at The Rocket Men to Bloomington. See it as a staged reading, mid-way through the rehearsal process, then, see the full production at The Phoenix Cultural Center in Indianapolis September 4-21.

In Crystal Skillman’s The Rocket Men, cast of female-presenting actors step into the roles of the former Nazis who sent us to the moon to share a story about the team that formed the backbone of NASA in the most unlikely of places…North Alabama. A startling new play about the intersection of scientific exploration and moral responsibility, probing what it means to be an American, then and now.

The Rocket Men is a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere launching at The Phoenix Theatre Cultural Centre in Indianapolis. The cast includes Jaddy Ciucci, Karla “Bibi” Heredia, Jennifer Johansen, Constance Macy, Jolene Mentink Moffatt, Charlie Rankin and Milicent Wright,  directed by Chris Saunders.
