The Queen's Bash
CHOOSE A PERFORMANCE
A Fundraiser Fit for a Queen
In typical Constellation fashion, we’re going to blow the doors off the John Waldron Arts Center! Once a year, the braintrust at Constellation puts together an event of food, fun, and frivolity like no other. This season, we’re pulling out ALL of the stops. The Queen’s Bash will feature a themed pre-show meal, pre-show entertainment, multiple bars with featured craft cocktails, AND a performance of The King’s Wife, all for the low low price of $75! And as a fundraiser, there will be plenty of additional opportunities to support the amazing work that Constellation does in our community! Attire for this event is “creative black tie.” What does that mean? You decide! If you want to dress for the theme, feel free to don a crown or tiara and we’ll roll out the red carpet!

The King’s Wife
On stage June 4 – 29 at the Waldron Arts Center
The King’s Wife imagines a secret history of the first wives of Henry VIII, Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn, and the untold story of their friendship and struggle for power in a male dominated era. A revolutionary pop musical by two-time Grammy-nominated songwriter, Jamie Floyd, and award-winning playwright, Mêlisa Annis, this bold reimagining of history explores the enduring legacy of extraordinary women.
