Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986): ON FRIDAY THE 13th

Celebrate a Friday the 13th in October like a true horrorhound… with a screening of, arguably, the greatest installment in the long-running slasher franchise. Featuring the first appearance of the iconic “Zombie Jason,” Part VI is dumb, popcorn horror at its very 80s best. Filmmaker Tom McLoughlin packs this sequel with tons of horror homages and self-referential humor that predates films like Scream, making this the best introduction to everyone’s favorite machete-wielding maniac. And before you even ask… no, you don’t have to have seen parts 1 – 5 to enjoy the trashy, exploitative fun of Jason Lives!

Attendees will be invited to participate in a pre-screening Scream-Off. The owner of the most blood-curdling horror scream will receive a special door prize!
