Covid Safety Manager – The Mountaintop

The Covid Safety Manager (CSM) is responsible for working with the producer to set the Covid Safety Protocols for each production, based on Actors Equity union guidelines and industry best practices. Their most important task is tracking daily temp/symptom checks for everyone involved in the production, as well as tracking all testing (3x week during The Mountaintop). CSM will attend rehearsal to advise on how to reduce risk during rehearsals/production (i.e. working with Stage Management to track items that need to be sanitized, etc.) and problem solve on the spot. They should be keeping up with all current guidance from the CDC and local health department, and be aware of local Covid resources (PCR testing sites, emergency care, etc.)

Training is required by AEA, which is available online and on-demand, and will be covered by Cardinal. Fee is $900 for the production (6 week commitment). Must be available Feb 8 – March 20, willing to work around conflicts.

To apply, email Artistic Director Kate Galvin, kate@cardinalstage.org with a letter expressing interest and sharing relevant experience.
